Session Policies

Booking

Full payment is due at the time of booking. Your session isn’t confirmed until payment is received.

Cancellations

More than 48 hours: Full refund or credit toward a future session.

Less than 48 hours: No refund. I’ve held your slot and turned down other bookings.

No-show: No refund, no credit.

Rescheduling

I understand that plans can change and I’m happy to offer flexibility when needed. That said, I truly respect your time and ask that you respect mine as well.

If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice whenever possible. I rent my studio space in advance, and last-minute changes still require me to cover that cost.

If something unexpected comes up, don’t hesitate to reach out – I’ll do my best to find a new date that works for both of us.

If I need to reschedule due to illness or an emergency, I’ll contact you as soon as possible and we’ll find a new date at no additional cost.

Weather

For outdoor sessions, if conditions look bad I’ll reach out beforehand. Weather reschedules are always free – we just pick a new date.

Session Day

Show up as yourself. Bring outfit changes, props, whatever feels like you. I’ll guide you through everything – you don’t need to know what to do in front of a camera.

Please arrive on time – ideally at least 10 minutes early so we can make the most of your session. If you’re late without contact, the session may be considered a no-show.

Attention dancers: For dance sessions, please arrive fully stretched and ready to pose so we can jump right in. I’d also encourage browsing Instagram for inspiration ahead of time and coming with a few favorite poses you’d love to try.

Image Delivery

Your gallery will be delivered within 2 weeks. During busy seasons, it may take longer – I’ll let you know.

Each session includes a minimum number of delivered images, though I often provide additional images when warranted by the session. As part of my artistic process, I carefully hand-select and professionally edit the images that best tell your story and represent my work.

You will receive a link to a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share your images. The gallery stays active for 60 days. Please be sure to download and back up your images before the gallery expires.

Editing & Retouching

Every image is professionally edited – color, exposure, tone, and light retouching. I want you to look like you, not a filter.

I don’t provide RAW or unedited files. What I deliver represents my work and the quality I stand behind.

Image Rights & Copyright

All of the delivered images are yours to keep, and you have full usage rights. I kindly ask that when sharing your photos, please download the original files rather than taking screenshots.

If you choose to post them on social media, please tag me @raak_photo and avoid adding filters so the images stay true to their original editing. You’re welcome to crop any images if you’d like them closer to the subject or better sized for social media platforms.

Minors

Sessions with anyone under 18 require a parent or guardian present.

Liability

In the rare event that something goes wrong (equipment failure, data loss) and I can’t deliver your images, my liability is limited to a full refund.
